CSP rotors arrived

CB dropped spindel, TRW Varga caliper and CSP brake rotor, they all fitted right away no shims etc. needed. By the way 32 and 36mm sockets are perfect tools to fit bearing races into place. Next job is........


Yes you guessed right... buy 4,5" fuchs to front.

Dropped spindels and brake caliper

Nothing happened here for a while expect recieved some parts, CSP 5x130 rotors still on the way. Calipers look so small, maybe I should go for those 944 brakes.

Have no garage, so I can't do anything when outside temperature is reaching -25°C. I'll have to continue virtual tuning meanwhile =) and read http://virtualsnepper.blogspot.com/.

Maybe I'll calculate heat transfer from brake caliper to spindel... nah what the he** do I need that for?

SO I bought those dropped spindles from CB. I thought that there have to be downside on these compared to original ones. Here is dropped spindle with load of 1000kg on shaft. And yes it is not accurate enough and material is homogenous but I will make it better and compare to original one later...
